Band Biography
Red Rain, a New Zealand based rock band has been traveling and hitting stages throughout the world since 2002. Playing in a variety of venues, their tours have taken them to over 20 countries and 4 continents across the globe . Their music can be described as a blend of rock, acoustic rock, and a refreshing mix of earthly textures and grooves from a wide range of musical influences.
In 2004, Red rain released their first album, “New Day” and continued on in 2006 with the second album , boldly titled, “Symphony”. Showing no signs of stopping, Red Rain’s journey takes them to new countries and venues each year. Their original songs bring a positive message appealing to young and old alike. Recently, in 2009 Red Rain completed their third and long-awaited album, strategically called “Life in Real Time”. Their faithful audiences. as well as new listeners have grown to love the new music and melodic anthems along with other Red Rain hits. For 2010, Red Rain will begin their 8th World Tour starting with New Zealand before heading to Asia in May.
